Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is it better to buy direct from VS than from our dealer?
As far as price goes, no. Our dealers are our partners. They offer sound advice, service, and installation. Some of our original equipment gear can only be purchased through dealers. If your dealer doesn't stock an item, or it's easier to order direct, we'll be happy to fill your order from our warehouse.

  • How come I don't get an Email as soon as I place my order?
We want to look over your order before we send it through the system. Hey, you aren't buying socks here! We want to make sure we have all your parts. If we have a suggestion, or a question about your order, we'll contact you BEFORE the order is processed. It's really frustrating to wait on the delivery truck and find out something doesn't fit your setup, or wasn't there. We don't use automated processing of credit cards either. Don't worry, we'll let you know when your order is on it's way. It's a good idea to print out the order confirmation. It has all the particulars of your order.

  • How Fast do these model go?
These models are not considered toys or your standard run of the tree R/C models. They're extremely fast (avg. 45-55mph stock) and weight about 21lbs. We suggest adult supervision for anybody under 16yrs. of age.

  • What Radio gear should I use?
Well there are allot of great products on the market today. I would recommend nothing lower than a FM system. But this is better decided by your funds availability if you can swing a little extra cash for a upgraded radio system I would try one of these great systems.
    :Nomadio Sensor
    :The Spektrum DX3
    :Futaba 3PK
    :Airtronics M11/M8

  • What body should I use?
Well this is one of the most common questions I hear through out the day. This all depends on what your intentions are for the near future with you and your 1/5th scale model. If you plan to just play in a large parking lot or wide open space, then just about any body will do! On the other hand if you are thinking about entering the racing scene. Then you should determine which class you would like to race, STC, GT,
F-1, or even Off-road. Now your ready to pick a body!
